The breakfast spot was fancy, and the food was yummy. They had a good variety of dishes to choose from. The bathroom had a nice shower, a hairdryer, and cozy bathrobes 🛁. The location was nice, not too far from a theater where they have live performances.

The location was beautiful and particularly good, right by an ancient roman theatre.

the location is superb with lovely grounds backing onto a park and a wealth of ancient roman remains. The hotel buiding itself is a wonderful example of Georgian architecture. The cuisine is excellent but expensive.
a party consisting of a high number of young children that monopolised the bar and lounge areas.

The location was incredible, within easy walking distance of a public park. I enjoyed a local area. Room was neat and airy and available with amazing bathroom, a private space, for instance.
Didn't like the staff, some of them were not very friendly.

The staff are extremely nice, and the hotel is in a beautiful setting. We got upgraded as it was our honeymoon.
Dinner in the restaurant was very delicious, but it was a bit expensive for the relatively small portions, and the music was a bit out of place/loud.

The hotel is good looking and luxurious, with friendly and attentive staff. The room is well furnished and well-equipped, offering delightful views over the rear garden and lake. The venue boasts a very pretty location in a wonderful conservatory overlooking the lake, and is nestled in a charming building close to beautiful parks, the high street, excellent shops, restaurants, cafes.

Tthe room was charmingly decorated in keeping with the period, the addition of extra (comfortable) seating and the attention to detail with the little 'extras' - luxury toiletries, fluffy bath robes, etc made it a very cosy stay

The hotel grounds were very well presented and very relaxing on a summer evening. The room was very comfortable although we would have preferred a view of the lake if available. The quality of the breakfast was good.
The dinner represented poor value, the starter lacked flavour and was overcooked. The steak was also overcooked. We decided not to have a dessert. The wine we chose was not available as the room was locked and the substitute was poor. The bottled drinking water in the room was not fresh. The scrambled egg although cooked well was not replenished quickly enough and the staff did not offer to get more. I would recommend the hotel but would choose to dine elsewhere.

Room was pleasant, staff mostly courteous. Evening meal good.
Not being allowed to finish our pre-dinner drinks and being rushed to our table for our evening meal. Bacon at breakfast had been pre-cooked and was as tough as old boots

Beautiful location, Garden rooms are excellent to relax and the option to step out into a beautiful park area right from the room is fantastic.
Breakfast buffet could offer more of a variaty, breakfast until 10:00 would be appreciated

The hotel is situated in lovely surrounding and the area very pleasant. The breakfast taken in the room was excellent. The bedding was first class and the fan in the very warm attic bedroom much appreciated.
The dinner taken in the hotel could have been better. We had a long wait for the food. Although the staff did apologize. My fish came with the head on and I should have been asked how I would like it served.
